ILIA DARCHIASHVILI CONTINUES TO HOLD BILATERAL MEETINGS WITH HIS COLLEAGUES

On 21 September 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Ali Sabry.

It was noted that Georgia is interested in the development of cooperation with the countries of the South Asian region.

The sides emphasized the importance of the mechanism of regular political consultations for realizing the full potential of existing cooperation.

The sides expressed the hope that the partnership and cooperation between the two countries will continue successfully in various fields in the future.

Ilia Darchiashvili also held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda, Chet Greene. The sides emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade and economy. 

Special attention was focused on the importance of sharing Georgia's experience in the field of institutional reforms and electronic governance.
