Visa Information
Citizens of Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Timor-Leste as well as citizens of third countries with residence permits can apply for a Georgia visa at the Embassy of Georgia in Jakarta.
Citizens of Singapore enjoy visa-free travel to Georgia for a period of 1 year.
Citizens of Indonesia, the Philippines and Timor-Leste are entitled to apply for a short-term ordinary e-visa visa (for tourist, medical, business visits, etc.) visa https://www.evisa.gov.ge/GeoVisa/
Note that the Embassy does not handle the e-visa process.
Citizens of Indonesia holding a valid diplomatic or official/service passport can enter and stay in Georgia without a visa (for a limited period).
For citizens of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste seeking immigration visa (for work, study, or family reunification), the application must be made at the Embassy of Georgia in Jakarta. This visa cannot be obtained through the E-visa system or other means.
The visa application should be submitted in an electronic form through the official website https://geoconsul.gov.ge/en
The payment of the visa fee and the submission of the visa application must be completed on the same day.
Applicants must upload all required documents and schedule an appointment at the Embassy when submitting their visa application. No online interviews are available for the visa application process.
If the system is not displaying available slots for appointments, it means that all slots have been booked. Applicants must check the calendar frequently and try to submit their visa application when a free slot becomes available.

Processing time for Ordinary visa is at least 10 days.
immigration visa is at least 30 days. In case of positive decision, study visa shall be issued with the right of multiple entries and 90-calendar day’s validity. Visa holders shall apply for visa to the LEPL Public Service Hall/LEPL Public Service Development Agency or to the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, with an appropriate application personally or by the representative, both for electronic and tangible submissions no later than 45 days before his/her lawful stay in Georgia expires.
Please submit the documents in exact order given below (the Embassy may request additional information/document):
For ordinary short-term visa:
- A document evidencing payment of visa fee USD 20 – if the full payment is not made, visa application will not be processed. When making the visa fee payment, please indicate the name of an applicant and type of service (e.g. visa). Please be aware of bank commission/fees (including the recipient bank in Indonesia) when making the international transfer
- Visa application form - completed and signed by applicant. Full name (first/given name and middle name together) of an applicant must be indicated in capital letters according to passport. If the application is made by a representative, document evidencing such representative powers must be presented
- If the photo (3.5x4.5) does not meet the ICAO standards, visa application will not be processed. Photo must only be uploaded electronically in a designated area of visa application form. The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form or uploaded seperately with oother documents
- Copy of the passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records; it shall contain at least two empty pages to stamp visa sticker
- Travel and Health insurance - valid for the period of visa on the entire territory of Georgia
- Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in Georgia
- Proof of sufficient funds (e.g. bank statement for the last 3 months)
- Proof of legal stay (except for tourist visa) in Indonesia or other countries of accreditation for third country nationals
For Immigration (working) visa:
- A document evidencing payment of visa fee USD 20 – if the full payment is not made, visa application will not be processed. When making the visa fee payment, please indicate the name of an applicant and type of service (e.g. visa). Please be aware of bank commission/fees (including the recipient bank in Indonesia) when making the international transfer
- Visa application form - completed and signed by applicant. Full name (first/given name and middle name together) of an applicant must be indicated in capital letters according to passport. If application is made by a representative, document evidencing such representative powers must be presented. For minors (under 18), notarized written consent of parents (with passport copies and birth certificate) must be presented
- Copy of the passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records; it shall contain at least two empty pages to stamp visa sticker
- If the photo (3.5x4.5) does not meet the ICAO standards, visa application will not be processed. Photo must only be uploaded electronically in a designated area of visa application form. The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form
- Travel and Health insurance - valid for the period of visa on the entire territory of Georgia
- Labour contract signed and notarized by both sides
- Unique code issued by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia in accordance with the Law on Labor Migration
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, or rent agreement indicating an amount and period of rent and conditions together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia, or a written notarized consent of owner together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia)
- In case of the Filipino citizens – proof of registration for Overseas Employment Certificate from the Philippines
- Proof of sufficient funds (notarized invitation if an employer is covering the travel and other expenses related to an applicant's stay in Georgia with relevant supporting document/evidence, including bank statement for at least last three months; other document evidencing the sufficient income)
- Certificate from the Revenue Service of Georgia (for the last 6 months) if an employer is a legal/ entrepreneurial entity registered in Georgia
- Certificate from the Public Registry of Georgia if an employer is registered in Georgia
- Copy of travel booking
- Resume, proof of qualification, reference letters
For Immigration (study) visa:
- A document evidencing payment of visa fee USD 20 – if the full payment is not made, visa application will not be processed. - The Order issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia allowing to study in Georgia without attending the National Exams
- The Order/Acceptance letter confirming the admission to an authorized educational institution of Georgia issued by University
- Document confirming the existence of the foreign language education program in the authorized educational institution in which applicant has been enrolled
- Travel and Health insurance - valid for the period of visa on the entire territory of Georgia
- Proof of accommodation (statement of Univesrity, hotel booking, or rent agreement indicating an amount of rent and conditions together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia, or a written notarized consent of owner together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia)
- Proof of financial funds: A document confirming that applicant will cover from own funds all the expenses; A notarized affidavit of sponsorship with the sponsor’s passport copy, a bank statement from the sponsor covering the last 6 months, or any other proof of sufficient funds, a salary certificate issued by the sponsor’s employer. A document confirming receipt of a grant or study financing. A document confirming the existence of a scholarship
For Immigration (family reunification) visa:
- A document evidencing payment of visa fee USD 20 – if the full payment is not made, visa application will not be processed. When making the visa fee payment, please indicate the name of an applicant and type of service (e.g. visa). Please be aware of bank commission/fees (including the recipient bank in Indonesia) when making the international transfer

- A document confirming that a family member of an applicant is legally staying in Georgia (immigration visa or residence permiT0
- A document confirming that a person already legally staying in Georgia (on the grounds of residence permit or Immigration visa) is a family member of an applicant (a marriage certificate, children’s birth certificate, etc.)
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, or rent agreement indicating an amount of rent and conditions together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia, or a written notarized consent of owner together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia)
- Proof of sufficient funds (e.g. bank statement for the last 3 months, salary certificate. etc.)
For D5 Immigration visa:
- A document evidencing payment of visa fee USD 20 – if the full payment is not made, visa application will not be processed. - Proof of ownership of prperty/real estate in Georgia
- Document confirming the market value of the property/real estate (the market value of the property/real estate is assessed by a certified appraiser operating under a legal entity of public law - national accreditation body accredited by the accreditation center. The real estate must have a value that exceeds the equivalent of 100,000 US dollars in GEL)
