Ambassador’s Welcome Speech

Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Indonesia.

It is a great honor for me to represent Georgia in the Republic of Indonesia, while also serving as Ambassador accredited to the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, as well as Representative of Georgia to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Relations between Georgia and the countries of Southeast Asia are founded on the principles of friendship, mutual respect, and shared interests. Our objective is to deepen political dialogue, expand trade and economic ties, promote investment, enhance cultural and educational cooperation, and further strengthen people-to-people connections. It is noteworthy that Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most dynamic and promising regions, with which Georgia’s engagement continues to become increasingly diverse and intensive each year.

The Embassy is actively committed to advancing and protecting Georgia’s interests, increasing awareness of our country throughout the region, and creating new opportunities for both bilateral and multilateral cooperation. At the same time, one of our highest priorities is to ensure effective and high-quality consular services for Georgian citizens.
