Embassy of Georgia Participates in European Day of Languages 2026 in Jakarta

On 24 September 2026, the Embassy of Georgia in Indonesia participated in an event marking the European Day of Languages 2026 at Jakarta State University. The event brought together 22 European countries, including Georgia as a co-organiser. The Ambassador of Georgia, Tornike Nozadze, attended the event.

The event was jointly organised by Jakarta State University, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), and the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia. This year’s event aimed to showcase linguistic and cultural diversity and encourage foreign language learning.

Alongside representatives of the diplomatic and cultural communities, participants included students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, schoolchildren, and members of the local community. Students and invited guests had the opportunity to learn about the Georgian language, history, and culture
