ILIA DARCHIASHVILI HAS MET WITH THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE SULTANATE OF OMAN

On 22 September 2023, Ilia Darchiashvili met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.  During the meeting, the sides positively evaluated the growing bilateral relations between Georgia and Oman.

The Georgian side emphasized Georgia's successful cooperation with the Gulf countries. Relations in the field of economy and tourism were especially noted.

The sides noted that it is important to restore direct air flights, which will contribute to the growth of tourist flows in both directions.

Discussions focused on cooperation in multilateral formats.
