Meeting Between Ambassador of Georgia and Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Trade Strengthens Bilateral Economic Ties
Ambassador of Georgia to Indonesia, Tornike Nozadze held a meeting with Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Trade, Wamendag Roro Esti to discuss opportunities for enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides highlighted the growing potential for collaboration in key sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, and digital trade. The sides also explored avenues to increase trade volume, facilitate business partnerships between Georgian and Indonesian enterprises, as well as discussed the possibility of concluding a bilateral free trade agreement to further boost economic ties.
Ambassador Nozadze emphasized Georgia’s strategic position as a gateway to European and regional markets, while Deputy Minister Roro Esti underscored Indonesia’s commitment to expanding its global trade network.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening economic relations and fostering closer cooperation between the two countries in the years ahead.
